I had the pleasure of supervising Vinayaka at Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station for 1.5 years. What stood out most in day to day work was his sense of ownership and reliability. Once he picked up a problem, I could trust him to drive it independently and see it through without needing close follow up. He is calm in ambiguous situations, breaks down problems in a very practical way, and consistently delivers thoughtful solutions rather than quick fixes. Over time, he also became someone I could rely on for sound judgement when things were unclear or time sensitive. I genuinely enjoyed working with him and would strongly recommend him for any high impact engineering role.
Vinayaka is a good team player, he worked in a project as a part of HPE-CTY program mentored by me. As a part of project he was involved in multiple technologies and gave his best managing his academics and project. Not everyone gets this kind of opportunity , I would say he definitely gave his best using the opportunity. Technically he is good, great team player with sounding presentation skills. All the best for his future career.
